Dear Researcher,

The Applications Lab of Metrohm DropSens is continuously working in new developments in different fields. This month we are adding two new references of modified Screen-Printed Electrodes for specific sensing applications.

Also a new spectroelectrochemical cell for working with conventional electrodes is available in our catalogue to complete your spectroelectrochemical workstation with the SPELEC equipment.

Metrohm DropSens - Spectroelectrochemical_cell_for_bulk_electrolysis

Spectroelectrochemical cell for bulk electrolysis

For those Researchers that would like to combine the use of the   SPELEC  equipment with conventional electrodes we have now available a   spectroelectrochemical cell with a platinum grid  to allow bulk electrolysis. To complete the set up you can also acquire the cuvette holder (Ref. CUV). Remember that the SPELEC range of equipments can be used with this type of conventional configurations and also with our cells for performing spectroelectrochemistry with Screen-Printed Electrodes (Refs. TRANSCELL and REFLECELL).

Metrohm DropSens - Uric Acid sensor
Uric Acid Sensor

Following the line of our enzymatic sensors, such as the Glucose Sensor (Ref. GLU10) or the Lactate Sensor (Ref. LACT10), we are releasing a specific electrode for Uric Acid Detection (Ref. UA10). Anomalous values of Uric Acid can be directly related to several disorders, for this reason its determination and quantification can be of great interest for many applications.

Metrohm DropSens - 110PPY
Screen-Printed Electrodes modified with Polypyrrole

A new electrode modified with Polypyrrole will be added to our range of modified carbon electrodes (Ref. 110PPYR). This modification inhibits the hydrogen evolution reaction making this electrode suitable for the development of sensors for ammonia gas, biological molecules, detection of pollutants or anions among others.
