Dear Researcher,

The release of the UV/VIS SPELEC equipment was a success for those interested in having a compact and cost effective solution for spectroelectrochemical experiments with a fully dedicated Software.

Now, in order to be able to offer this innovative system for applications working in different spectral ranges we have available the SPELEC-NIR.

Metrohm DropSens - Spelec NIR

Following our spectroelectrochemistry line, composed so far by the SPELEC-VIS/UV, SPELEC1050 and SPELEC-RAMAN, we are now releasing the SPELEC-NIR for those experiments performed in the VIS-NIR region. The equipment, that can be used with SPEs or with any conventional set-up, is composed by a Lightsource (VIS-NIR: 360-2500 nm Tungsten halogen), a Spectrometer (Wavelength range: 900-2200 nm) and a Bipotentiostat/Galvanostat (± 4 V DC potential range, ± 40 mA maximum measurable current). Aside of the conveniency of having all the hardware components in only one instrument, the key feature of this systems is the DropView SPELEC Software. With options specially dedicated for spectroelectrochemistry, it allows you to trigger optical and electrochemical measurements to be shown in Counts, Absorbance, Transmittance or Reflectance, you can obtain Voltabsorptograms, Chronoabsorptograms or Derivated ones or have the spectrum film of your experiment…among many other advanced features.
